Alan Sidney Patrick Rickman (natural in February 21, 1946) is an English stage and movie actor.

Biography
Innate within Hammersmith, London to a working-class personal; his father was Irish Catholic and his mother was Welsh and a Methodist; there was consequently a religious tug-of-war between his parents. His father died whilst he was 8 years old, & his mother raised him subsequently.

Rickman was a graphic designer prior to typing the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA) in London in the early 1970s. Since so, he has been the constant presence on the British stage. He manufactured a particular impression when the male lead in the 1985 Royal Shakespeare Company production of Les Liaisons Dangereuses, and became known to television audiences when Mr. Slope in the BBC's 1980s adaptation of Barchester Towers.

Around recent years he hwhen are to a attention of the immature audience across his appearances as the snide Severus Snape in the Harry Potter movies. Extra recently, Rickman hwhen been cast as Marvin's voice in ''The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy'' movie. Coincidentally, Rickman & David Learner, who occupied Marvin's costume for the TV adaptation & stage shows, were at RADA together.
